5th of December: International Volunteer Day

International Volunteer Day (IVD) (originally as International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development) is an international observance designated by the United Nations since 1985.

It offers an opportunity for volunteer organizations and individual volunteers to make their contributions visible – at local, national and international levels and is a chance for individual volunteers, communities and organizations to promote their contributions to development at the local, national and international levels.

Being a volunteer is a big opportunity to develop your skills by working for an NGO. You could learn new things, meet many and different people from another countries and make new friends.

Fundacjia CAT has a tradition of hosting volunteers for EVS programs from many countries of Europe. Also, it has a variety of people of the local community who are active volunteers and work with us, promoting the aims and the goals of our organization.

We would like to thank all of our volunteers for being part of CAT.

Without you nothing would be the same!

Thank you!
